Applimize

Applimize was born during my high school years out of a personal frustration with the complexity of college applications. It wasn’t just me—students everywhere were grappling with the overwhelming process, and even counselors struggled with software that was designed more for administrative needs than student usability. Applimize aimed to solve this by bridging the gap between college counseling agencies and their private clients.

Unlike other tools on the market, which were built solely for counselors and left students out of the equation, Applimize made the process more user-friendly and collaborative. By addressing real pain points that both students and counselors faced, I learned the value of building solutions that prioritize empathy and user experience. This experience taught me how important it is to understand the actual needs of end-users, especially when they are underserved by existing tools.
